Welcome to the Global Neuro Research Coalition

Our Coalition was originally formed by 24 expert neurologists and researchers from around the world as the Global COVID-19 Neuro Research Coalition, now known as the Global Neuro Research Coalition. Together, they issued a call to the global neurology community to establish a coalition in which members could exchange ideas, share their latest research into the intersection of COVID-19 and neurology, and create open lines of communication between international colleagues and institutions, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.

Now comprising over 120 members from 38 countries, the Coalition has established four research task forces and is working closely with the WHO Neurology and COVID-19 Global Forum to answer the most pressing questions currently facing neurologists and their patients. In addition to its focus on low- and middle-income countries, the Coalition has placed an emphasis on harmonizing research networks and strategies, not only for COVID-19, but also for all future neurological research.
